Parents Day to Pickup Children’s Belongings & I Want to be Medals
Dear Tom Thumb Senior Parents,
I hope this letter of communication finds you and your families healthy and safe. As you are well aware, school has now been canceled for the remainder of the year. As sad as this is to all of us, we at Tom Thumb are going to try and do our very best to make the end of the year as special as it can be for the children. You will be advised of everything via our WEBSITE. Your teacher will be contacting each of you shortly to ensure you have read the letter and understand it.
We will be asking each class to come by the school with your senior graduate on a designated date and time to pickup belongings, chose your “ I WANT TO BE MEDAL” and to have a photo taken of your graduate. This photo will be taken with a cap and gown on. All caps and gowns will be different colors. Please do not wear any bows or clips in your hair. If you happen to have a cap and gown in your possession that you could use, please contact Nancy Cappello via text at (914) 329-5567 ASAP. Please include your child’s full name and classroom teacher.
S.O.S – we need 22 more cap and gowns for our much deserving 2020 class. I have 60 extra from previous years. I want this class to have theirs. The gowns and medal business are not open, please help, please call people you know.
Pick up Dates & Times:
PLEASE ENTER THROUGH THE GYM DOOR OR PURPLE ROOM DOOR ON THE PARKING LOT SIDE OF THE BUILDING AND EXIT THE OPPOSITE DOOR BY THE PLAYGROUND. THE MEDALS WILL BE ON THE BLUE TOP WITH ME LISTENING TO STUDENTS READ THE MEDALS THEY WANT.
PICK UP SCHEDULE
Madame’s Class – Wednesday, May 13th @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am<
Mrs. Cichetti’s Class – Wednesday, May 13th @ 11: 00 am – 12:00 pm
Mrs. Fitzgerald’s Class – Thursday May 14th @ 10:00am – 11:00am
Mrs Mula’s Class – Thursday May 14th @ 11:00am – 12:00pm
Mrs. Gallagher’s class and Mrs. Vaughn’s 2-day kids – Thursday, May 14th @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
If you have a Junior or Thumbelina child your pick up day is on your senior child’s designated day.
We are planning to have a TOM THUMB TAILGATE GRADUATION!! This will take place, one class, at a time in our parking lot and it will last about 45 minutes.
All 5-day kids will graduate with their MWF Morning Class.
A detailed letter explaining all of this will be given to you when you pick up your “I WANT TO BE MEDAL.”
